New rules on school routes in the face of covid-19

Are we ready for back to school?

September, back to school and back to school routes are here and we are all preparing to do it safely and effectively against covid-19.

Back to school also means that new regulations need to be adopted, in the case of a face-to-face education scenario, to keep students and staff safe from COVID-19 by maintaining social distancing and installing physical barriers.

This presents a major challenge for school routes and requires adjustments to the service at short notice.

In order to be clear about how to go back to school and especially to school routes in a safe way, it is necessary to know some rules to apply in the school bus, which will be the first contact we have with the back-to-school period.

New rules on safe school routes

  • Try to arrive at the bus stop in good time and keep a safe distance from other parents and children.
  • Staggered entrance to the school to reduce the accumulation of pupils in the centre and on the route.
  • All children (with the exception of with the exception of exempted) and parents must wear a mask while waiting for the coach to arrive.
  • You may not eat or drink inside the coach and it is best to avoid eating or drinking at the bus stop in order to be protected for as long as possible with the mask.
  • Seats shall be occupied at a distance necessary for the safe transport of one child per seat.
  • Disinfectant gels will be available at the entrance of the coach for the use of the use by the youngest passengers..
  • The timetables will be reinforced by the school in order to maintain social distancing and staggered entry to the school.

This September we all want a safe return to school after covid-19 and to get back to the normality we had before the pandemic, especially children and their parents for whom teleworking and online classes for the little ones are an extra effort.

From Be my Driver we offer you not only coaches for the school route, but if you prefer, we also have a large fleet of vehicles for individual routes where safety is even greater.

We remind you here the commitment to safety that we offer on every trip against covid-19.
