This month it has special opening hours from 17:00 h. to midnight. Always remember to book.

• Círculo de Bellas Artes rooftop terrace

Having a drink at this rooftop bar in Madrid is a must. Located at the top of Calle Alcalá, this terrace offers incredible views of the city. The armchairs overlook the bustling streets of Madrid and are an ideal place to watch the sunset. You can also take in the art exhibitions on display in the cultural centre.

• Florida Retreat

The Oasis in the centre of Madrid. Imagine a place hidden in the middle of the Retiro Park inspired by Morocco. • The Hat

Of all the places we have shown you, perhaps this one, located in La Latina, is one of the coolest terraces in Madrid, with a great place for snacking and postureo with friends. 

Designer cocktails at the best hidden top roof bar in Madrid. It's a super-cool little terrace located in the hostel that bears its name, The Hat Hostel. It is essential to call and make a reservation or you may have to wait for a while in the Hall. A place as special as it is different.

Address: Less than 100 metres from Plaza Mayor, between Gran Vía and La Latina.

The best thing about this city in summer, especially in August, is that there are fewer people than usual and less traffic.
