Most of Madrid's parks are now open again and it's starting to get nice, so it's the best time to go sightseeing and enjoy the outdoors and, if possible, take a walk in one of the lungs of the capital.

From Be my Driver we propose you some ideas to visit this weekend reminding you that you can get to any of these parks and gardens with one of our chauffeur-driven vehicles.

El Retiro Park

After the passage of the storm Filomena the Park has been closed to be conditioned for visitors but since Monday 22nd February 60% of the 118 hectares are again available for visitors, keeping open 12 of its 17 accesses (see map).

It is one of the largest parks in Madrid and is located in the centre of the city, so it is easily accessible from wherever you are coming from.

In the past it belonged to the Monarchy before becoming a public space where the pond, 'Estanque del Retiro', is an important feature of the design along with other elements such as the chapels and the wide pathways along with some of its exquisite sculptures.

We recommend that you set aside a morning to stroll among the trees and enjoy this recently recovered marvel.

El Capricho

It is one of the most pleasant surprises you can find in Madrid. A little-known spot for locals but of inestimable beauty. Some consider it to be the most beautiful park in the whole city.

Its origin dates back to the last part of the 18th century when the Dukes of Osuna decided to build a house on the outskirts of Madrid.

It is located in the Alameda de Osuna next to another emblematic park and close to the airport. It is a great option to spend the time between flights doing some sightseeing in the area.

In this case, we recommend that as soon as you arrive at the airport or even before, you contact our staff to arrange a transfer or arrangement from the airport to the park. transfer or an arrangement from the airport to the Park to make the most of your so that you can enjoy your transfer in Madrid as much as possible.

Quinta de los Molinos

If you want to stroll through a field of almond trees in the heart of Madrid, this is the park for you. February is coming to an end and the trees of the Quinta de los Molinos are already in full bloom, and if the temperatures are mild, as they have been this year, tourism is a must in this part of the city.

The park is located near the Feria de Madrid and the Atlético de Madrid stadium, the Wanda Metropolitano, an area further away from the centre but with a lot of charm that you can reach with one of our chauffeur-driven cars

The park also has the Quinta de los Molinos Open Spacea cultural space designed specifically for children and teenagers and their families.

Juan Carlos I Park

Located in the Feria de Madrid area, the Juan Carlos I is an immense park covering an area of 160 hectares where you can go for a stroll or do outdoor sports.

As picturesque spaces we can find an olive grove with more than 2000 specimens of the old Olivar de Hinojosa, a lake, an estuary, an auditorium, a collection of outdoor sculptures and an activity centre where you can enjoy workshops for children.

A different visit for those who want to spend a day practising sport while enjoying the good temperatures that this month is leaving us.

Fuente del Berro Park

Among the many parks that can be found in Madrid, this is one of the most romantic and preserves an intact and intimate centre for a stroll with your partner.

Located in the Barrio de Salamanca, it occupies an area of 13 hectares with multi-level gardens forming meadows that run along dirt paths and rustic stone staircases.

As Madrid's most romantic park, it has a monument to Bécquer, a statue dedicated to the poet Pushkin, fountains, waterfalls and a couple of small ponds, as well as a small palace which is what remains of its palatial past.

A charming park for a stroll in the city centre.
